fall foliage

What’s more synonymous with Autumn than changing leaves?

With plum and rusty shades more popular than ever, accessing these tones with the right foliage can be a huge help for creating fall wedding palettes. Check out below to learn about some of our favorite shades of autumn foliage or view our Fall Foliage Pinterest board to see them all!

Changing Green Shades:

Stuartiana Eucalyptus, Liquid Amber, and Nandina express autumn’s greatest beauty. They’re like transitioning leaves, only stopped in time with greens fading into gold and crimson shades.

Natural Plums and Browns:

Reach for hibiscus, weigela, smokebush, filbert, ninebark, and agonis for the bride that likes things moody contrast in designs as organic as possible.

Sandy Shades:

Pampas is a hugely trendy wedding foliage, but it’s most becoming in autumn. Try in fresh form for hints of pink and mauve, or purchase preserved to fluff out for the iconic pampas plume. Can’t get pampas? Try other grasses like explosion grass for golden, sandy hues.

Painted, Tinted, and Dyed:

Whether you want a little bit of everything, or a specific autumn shade, snag painted, tinted, and dyed foliage like painted oak leaves, preserved stuartiana eucalyptus, preserved copper beech, or painted lepidium to access the colors you need.
