The 2019 Potomac Floral Show and Design Competition was a smashing success and one we won't soon forget! We couldn't have done it without the generous support of our exhibitors and sponsors who transformed our space with amazing floral displays and the freshest blooms and plants to awe and inspire our visitors.
An exciting day for all, the band Quantum Leap entertained with their retro 80's music to energize the crowd, while Milloff's served delectable food and impeccable service. The Vendor Exhibits magnified the experience with remarkable displays featuring their latest products and informed us all with their talent and knowledge.
Our Annual Design Competition is a favorite feature of the show for many, featuring local designers who created displays inspired by this year’s theme, “Designing Through the Decades.” The designs represented trends from the 1950’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. A six person panel of AIFD judges chose the very best to award top honors.
Taking our show over the top, our keynote speaker, Joyce Mason-Monheim AIFD, CFD, AAF, PFCI, AzMF, delivered an impressive and inspiring presentation, “Design Trends & The Future Floral Impact”. She enlightened us with an excellent demonstration of how floral trends have changed and evolved and what to expect in the future of floral design.
We are honored and humbled by everyone who attended and contributed to this year's event, we couldn't do it without you!
